Senior IRS Agent Comes Forward, Says Biden is Blocking Criminal Prosecution of His Son

A whistleblower has come forward with allegations of preferential treatment and political interference by federal prosecutors appointed by President Joe Biden in order to protect his son, Hunter Biden, from criminal tax charges.

In a letter addressed to multiple US Senators, the agent reveals he has already made legally protected disclosures internally at the IRS, through counsel to the U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, and to the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General.

Entire IRS investigative team removed from Hunter Biden case​

The IRS has removed the entire investigative team in the Hunter Biden tax evasion investigation.

“Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress,”


The removal order came from the Department of Justice, according to the letter, which also called the move "clearly retaliatory."

“Any attempt by any government official to prevent a federal employee from furnishing information to Congress is also a direct violation of longstanding appropriations restriction. Furthermore, 18 U.S.C. § 1505 makes it a crime to obstruct an investigation of Congress,

"Removing the experienced investigators who have worked this case for years and are now the subject-matter experts is exactly the sort of issue our client intended to blow the whistle on to begin with,"

The move stunned lawmakers in Congress, who had just taken action to accept the IRS agent as a whistleblower and were making plans to conduct a transcribed interview with him in coming days, and who had just received assurances from IRS chief Daniel Werfel that there would be no reprisals against the whistleblower.
